Do you want to improve your language skills quickly? Fancy a challenge in? Lingoda has continuously great offers for you. We give you a chance to sprint your way to success in a foreign language. The Sprint is a way to challenge yourself to learn a language quickly and effectively. It requires a big burst of energy but gives great results for people who are able to cross the finish line.
The Sprint is a challenge for all language learners out there. It offers you the chance to get up to 90 lessons in your chosen language for free. All you have to do is attend 100% of the lessons that you commit to when you sign up. If you manage this, you get a refund of up to 100%.
You can choose to do the Sprint in English, Business English, German, French or Spanish. So whether your 2020 plans involve a quick cup of tea with the Queen in London or a beer at Oktoberfest, you can move one step closer with the Sprint.
Lingoda is offering two different versions of the Sprint.
The Sprint is the first. You sign up to do 15 lessons per month for three months in your chosen language. If you manage to attend all of the lessons, you get a 50% refund on your course.
The Super Sprint goes a step further. You sign up to take 30 lessons a month for three months. If you attend all of the classes, you receive a 100% refund. You pay absolutely nothing for 90 language lessons.
You can sign up for the Sprint now by clicking here. You must sign up before 27th January to be in with a chance of getting your lessons for free.
You pay for the Sprint in three installments. When the Sprint finishes, your payments will turn into a roll over subscription for Lingoda lessons. However, you are free to opt – just follow the terms and conditions.
On a personal level, you should do the Sprint if you want to make a lot of progress in your chosen language in a short amount of time. The Sprint is a great motivator. People often start learning a language and then quickly give up – like with most New Year’s resolutions. The Sprint makes this less likely; with intensive classes, you’re more likely to keep going. And, there are very few people who don’t like saving money. So, the idea that if you push yourself and attend every class you can get those classes for free is very motivating for most people.
Why you should choose the Sprint over a more traditional, slower-paced language course is a different question. In a slower-paced class, you learn something new and by the time the next lesson comes a week later you have probably forgotten it. With a challenge like the Sprint, you are able to review new things often and review them within a couple of days of learning them. Reviewing new vocabulary and grammar is essential to make sure your brain retains it, and learning intensively is the best way to make sure that happens.
All of Lingoda’s lessons are fully online, so you can do your classes from anywhere, remotely. The lessons are with a native speaker and focus on speaking skills and the production of the language. This means that you can become fluent faster and be sure that you’re speaking the real language, not stale textbook stuff. The classes are small too, so you have lots of opportunities to speak and ask questions.
The lessons themselves are designed to be varied and interesting. There are 8 lessons per unit and each unit is on a different theme. The themes are relevant to learners’ lives and range from food and cultural events to science and video games. There’s something for everyone. Each unit also focuses on a couple of different grammar topics. The lessons cover all four skills: reading, writing, listening and – most importantly – speaking. And, there are lessons for beginners through to advanced students.
With the Sprint, you will make real progress in a foreign language. So, what are you waiting for?
